A day of rest

1/8/2012

Sundays are traditionally a day of rest and yet in the busy lives that people lead, they use it to cram in all the things they havent done in the week. Yet taking time out to rest and find time to just be for a while is an important part of life for it helps to replenish the soul and keep your energies high.

So rather than dashing here and there, take time to sit down in a chair. Look out of the window and enjoy the view. Look at the clouds and the trees and hear the birds. For as you do you will find yourself connecting more to the universe that is around you. You will begin to feel part of the very thing that you are  a part of. For when you are busy you forget to see and the world just becomes something you take for granted rather than something you enjoy.

The more you feel connected to the earth and its inhabitants, the more you will start to want to take time to enjoy it. So even if it is only for fifteen minutes of your day, find time to wish the world a good day
