Happiness can be a vice

12/12/2011

For some happiness can be a vice. For it is the one thing they seek that keeps them weak when they do not find it. Yet are they searching in the right place for it. Where do they look. Are they seeking it from others, from the material world, or the bottom of a bottle. Have they thought to look within themselves to find out what happiness means to them.

Happiness is addictive, as it is something we all hope to achieve, since the very word is full of wonderful warmth and joy. Yet the only person who can truly achieve it is yourself. By listening to yourself and learning to love yourself, you will find a whole wealth of happiness within you that before seemed impossible to find. Being satisfied with your life and appreciating the things within it, will bring you great happiness. Learning to love others and the way they live their lives, giving no judgement of them as you do,  will also bring great happiness to you. Just learning to love life everyday in every way possible, will bring happiness to you.

So although happiness can be a vice, it is also something which is perfect when it is truly found. So in your journey to find happiness, may you truly enjoy being you. Have a wonderful day.
