Angels – Are they Real?

 Years ago I would have been skeptical. I had never had any experience with them or even had an inkling to bring them into my life.

Since 2011 however, my views and life has changed dramatically. I had an awakening which led to meditations in which my head and arms would be moved as I lay there – allowing the process – knowing deep down that it was safe. So much white light. It was an amazing experience.

Not long after I was attuned to work with angels and their energies and began to be aware of a beautiful pink light around me as I worked with people, bringing them messages and healing energies from the angelic realm.

Later I was guided to channel with the angels and as a result have channelled three books all about manifesting a better world. The words in these are so powerful and exquisite that the energy of them blows me away every time I read them. Such powerful messages. We are so far from living a loving life on this planet that is so possible if only we allowed it to be.

I have also since done live channelling with people in groups where people have been able to ask questions of spirit – and as I mostly work with angels and those of pure mind, the answers that came back were from such a source. This is something I can do simply by tuning in. I often tune in to angels and the spirit guides to do meditations with people which are often so amazing, peaceful and full of wisdom that they leave me lost for words when it comes to an end.

For me the angels offer us the opportunity to have a helping hand whenever we need it. They have knowledge and understanding far beyond ours which when shared allows us to develop at a much greater rate, helping us to reach our potential and do the most good for others during our lifetime. They bring to us the love of God in its purest form so that we can experience it truly, reminding us of our own journey as a spirit and reconnecting us to all that exists here and beyond.

I have sometimes seen angels as colours. I can sometimes see things that flash into my mind when I am working, but generally my experience with angels is through energy and the feeling of it. It is a deep inner knowing that I am connecting with them and that they are bringing the guidance needed for whomever it is being sought.

I have been told by others who can see spirit that my face changes many times when I work. This is always reassuring for I know myself they are there, yet there is always that little small part of me that isn’t quite sure as I have not seen them. I am now confident that the angels are working with me. They are my guidance and I love them more each and every day.

I have been reading a book called Stairways to Heaven by Lorna Byrne which is fascinating. She clearly sees angels and has them helping her closely every day. She knows and sees a guardian angel with each person she meets and those around that she comes into contact with. The important thing for me is that we trust in their presence and have faith that they are there, loving us and guiding us. All you have to do is ask.

One of my friends doubted angels. She asked for a sign. She was given a white feather. She said that wasn’t enough and so later more white feathers appeared. Still she was sceptical and so she asked for more proof. Later that day she turned a corner and across the road and pathway there laid thousands of feathers where a lorry had shed its load. Coincidence – maybe. Proof – that was up to her – for after all everything in life is up to us. We have our own unique perception of life and understanding. How we interpret it and live our lives is our choice. I choose to live mine with angels, to work with them, to cherish their wisdom and to share it as much as I can. 

For many of us our old stories bring us comfort. They provide something familiar in our lives even if the effects of those stories limit our current thinking.

Yet if we were to truly let go of these stories and begin to create new ones, our lives would transform. 

For many rejection and fear provide a blanket to help us from having to undergo new experiences and change. They give us the perfect alibi. Yet there is no such thing as rejection and fear in reality - they are only perceptions of the mind based on previous experiences. 

A child when they begin to take their first steps has no concept of either rejection or fear in most circumstances. It is only when their parents or others tell them to be careful or instruct them where not to go that they begin to hear reasons for fear. If they were to be left to discover things for themselves their own instincts would guide them.

Often these instincts are drowned out by the thoughts and feelings of others. This then teaches a person to listen to others rather than listening to themselves. By not listening to oneself, we miss out on a journey of discovery that leads us more quickly to the things that bring us happiness. So by letting go of these fears yourself you can then help others to develop there own sense of self more quickly.

By feeling fear and rejection we dis empower ourselves and leave ourselves limited in the things we do.  If we were able to see things from a different perspective, such as compassion, we would learn to see that often the actions of another or the fears that we are having are not reality but something we are making up in our minds. The ego part of the mind will invent ways to bring us back to our comfort zone rather than allowing us to create something new. If we can learn to observe when this is happening, we can begin to find ways and thoughts to change it so that we can create new and exciting changes in our lives. 

Think of your relationships, your job or your money situation. What aspect of these have become stagnant? What element of fear or rejection is preventing you from creating something new? You know the answers. No one else has the key to unlock you, only you. 

Do something amazing today and learn to see through your fears and rejection and begin to create the life you really want rather than the one you have become accustomed to. 

You are amazing - believe in you.

Rejection limits many people's lives in ways they often don't realize.

Everything that we undertake to do has a great chance of success yet often things don't work out as we had hoped. Think of a time when you have had great focus on a project but yet the outcome was decidedly poor - it didn't reach your expectations. 

Think back to the occasion. Was your mind clear or were there doubts getting in the way? Often doubts creep into our thoughts which then change the energy of the focus and create an invisible block on what we are doing. These doubts are often the result of rejection both in this lifetime and in lifetimes before. Things that have happened to us or been said that have affected our belief in ourselves. 

In order to break this pattern it is necessary to observe when these doubts occur and then to find ways to change the thoughts into something positive. The fear of rejection is a strong and powerful thought which will show itself in many forms. This can be a  direct thought, actions perceived as rejection by others or something which is self sabotaging, such as doubts in yourself. Recognizing the thought or feeling and understanding the reasons for it will help you to overcome it. 

It is easier to tell ourselves that we are inadequate or that our work is not up to standard than it is to accept that others perception of it may not be the same as ours. Everyone is unique. No two people's perception of one thing will be the same. The important factor is that whatever you do enjoy it. If you have enjoyed the process of producing something then it will have raised your vibrations. This alone will raise your belief in you. When others then have their opinions that do not match yours, you will be able to see with clarity that it is not a personal rejection but merely their own opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and with so many people in the world, it is not surprising that so many differing opinions exist. 

Be aware of your fears and live through them, for when you do you will discover a whole new area of yourself that you never before knew existed.

It is true - you are amazing. 

I know this place called the world to be my home at this current time. I understand that the experiences that I create for myself teach me things that help me to grow. I listen to what others say and learn to understand their perspectives too. This is a wonderful world.

I have learnt to appreciate the things that I see each day. I have learnt to love those who share time with me in any way. I have become a wiser human being because of things I know. It is this world that had made the I in me glow with the joy of having the privilege to experience many things within it. This is indeed a wonderful place to be.

There is no doubt that there is much still to learn. So much that would be good to know but is still out of reach. So for now I am happy with the knowledge I have at this moment in time and understand that I can only be the best that I can be knowing all that I do now.

I know that to live freely means to let go of the past.  This has not always been easy but now I am beginning to see the benefits of it. Now is the time to create something new and enjoy the creating as I do. Now is the time to allow myself the freedom to be me and to laugh freely for all to see.

The world consists of many “I”s each of them being you. Each of us connected by the vibration and energy that we have within ourselves and our auras. So when I think of the world and I it means that I am also thinking of you. Learning to love I means that I am also loving you. Having faith and trust in myself also means I have faith and trust in you. Believing in who I am means that I also believe in you.

The world is a wonderful place. It is full of joy and love for all to see. There is nothing that can prevent you from being truly free if you allow your mind to flow with no limitations at all. Be honest with yourself and know that life for you is great. No matter what weight you think you have hanging around your neck - know that you can be free of it any time you choose by seeing it in a different way.  Seeing it as a gift - an adventure that is showing you the way to being better at being you.

May all who exist in this world, the universe and all that is, find joy, love and laughter in their day in this very moment and all moments from here on in.

With the many distractions in life it is easy to find your energies being swept away leaving you with little left to do the things you intended. 

When waking in the morning allow yourself to feel the freedom to focus only on what is right for you. As the distractions occur, decide on the value to you and whether it can wait. If it needs an answer, list it for later. Then allow your mind to stay focused on what you had allocated for your day.

As you find your mind wandering, allow yourself a moment to understand the thoughts that you are having and decide whether they are important. If so, make a note of them. If they are not, accept them and then let them go. Then carry on with the tasks you have set in your day. 

The more you focus on a project, idea, book or task in hand the more your energy will increase the desire for the outcome and the quicker it will be achieved. 

Everything in the universe is made up of energy. The more energy you give to a particular thought the stronger the desire for it to occur will be. The stronger the desire the more likely it will happen and the right tools will be shown to you to bring it to fruition. 

All energy carries with it a vibration. The brighter and higher the vibration the happier it will make you feel. The closer you become to finishing something the happier you will feel.

Allowing yourself to be true to you and focusing clearly upon it will thus bring you the rewards you deserve. It is when you invite in doubts that your mind loses its focus and then loses the vibration that is drawing it to you. 

Think of the greyhound. When they are running after the fake rabbit on a race track there eyes are firmly fixed on their target and they have no room for any other thought, since they want to be the first to reach it. They allow no distractions to prevent them and have no doubt that they will achieve it. 

So like the greyhound, find a target and allow yourself to drive yourself towards it. Let go of doubts as they arise and know that you will achieve it. 

Sit and imagine what you could achieve and allow yourself to feel the excitement within. You are amazing. You can do anything. Just know it and believe it. 

Dreams really can come true. 

Between 21st August and 1 September I elected to go on a Vipassna Meditation retreat. This involved committing myself to a strict timetable and being silent for 9 of those days. 

Having never been silent for half a day let alone 9, I was unsure how I would find it. I was amazed how easily I fell into it. Although seeing solemn faces around me was challenging, as all I wanted to do was play, I realised that everyone was working on their own challenges. 

The meditation itself was a great technique. I have to say it was good to have the 10 days to get used to it as it was tough to start with, and I am someone who meditates often. However, once you understand the reasons for the way they do things from a deeper level it just all feels natural and lovely and worthwhile. 

On my last day I had a big shift within myself and now having come out into the big wide world again I can feel the difference that it has made. I am aware of how different I am becoming within myself. It feels like I have walked out into an alternative universe. An amazing feeling. 

If you are someone who has been doing inner work on yourself but knows you have some deeper hurts, this would be a worthwhile exercise for you. If you are someone who has done no work on your inner self, it would be a great starting point for you.

Do you ever give any thought to the angels that are around you?

Freedom is a state of mind. It is how you feel from the inside out. 

During this day with the full moon looming this evening energies create a sense of something different within. Sometimes this can lead to an uneasiness and other times it can connect you to your higher self. 

When feeling uneasy take time to sit in the calm. Allow yourself some rest and just be for a while. What you need to deal with will become obvious as you. When it does you will have set time aside to work things out rather than continuing to firefight through your day. 

When connecting to your Higher self it will allow you to appreciate all that is good in the world. You will begin to see things more clearly and know that you and all around you is amazing. That you are on a special journey of your own interconnecting with others who are doing the same. That your uniqueness makes you special and that your vibration will bring you all you need at the time you need it.

Allow yourself to be free today and simply love being you. 

No matter how busy your day, finding time to be in the still will help you to find clarity within your life. 

Learning to listen to your own being and to rest for a while will give you new energy and allow you to grow.

You are responsible for your feelings. Learning to take time out allows you time to consider them. How you feel and react in the world is affecting the world around you. Not only does it impact on your own life, but also affects the energies on the earth. The happier you can be the more positive the energy that you will give out. 

Find time to just be in the still and let yourself go. Let the true essence of you flow.
